IT Support Specialist

About the position
Are you a problem solver with a high interest in technology? Do you enjoy providing professional frontline IT support to internal stakeholders?
We are now looking for an IT Support Specialist with the primary responsibility to serve as the first point of contact for IT-users who needs support. You will be working closely with the IT team and perform troubleshooting, solve incidents and other requests from the organization.
The position is based in Karlshamn and includes on-call duty. You will report to our Team Leader IT Support, Stefan Kjellsson.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and complete help desk tickets
- Setup and onboard new employees including accounts, hardware, and software
- Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of user PC’s
- Test and install computer hardware and software applications
- Interface with third party vendors to resolve certain hardware or software issues
- Develop and maintain required IT support documentation
- Support printers, audiovisual and peripherals
- Provide emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule 24/7
Who are you?
Experience
To succeed in this role, you have experience from working as an IT Support Specialist at a 2nd line level. We also expect you to have basic knowledge of network management and good communication skills, both oral and written, in Swedish and in English.
Personal Qualities
You have an adoptive mindset combined with good ability to communicate with end users. You are characterized by being well-organized, customer oriented and proactive. You take responsibility and are enthusiastic about what you do.
You are an independent and outgoing team player with a structured way of working and with a good eye for details. You have a high willingness and ability to share knowledge and experience with the rest of the team.
