Your job

As Business Developer Propositions you develop a vision on loans for the commercial bank. You create new propositions and translate these into clear input for the product roadmap to facilitate the transition to execution. As you are end-to-end responsible for the development and implementation of new propositions, products and services you take initiative to drive innovation. You engage various disciplines inside and outside the organisation to get a multidisciplinary perspective on the future loans for the commercial bank. To get a better understanding of our customers behaviour and needs, you really engage with them. In addition you shape the Customer Journey of the future for our business customers. Defining the moments of truth and key pains and gains to resolve, together with Customer Experience. You ensure a rapid learning cycle in the ideation of new products and processes via hypotheses, customer testing, prototyping, data-driven validation, and so on.
Your working environment

The Corporate Credits Grid ensures that every company experiences ABN AMRO as a partner in achieving its dreams and ambitions through relevant advice and appropriate financing solutions.
At Corporate Credits you work with 150 ambitious colleagues (Business and IT) who share a passion for loans and provide new online channels, new financing solutions, a new platform for requesting and managing customized financing solutions and optimizing processes, products and pricing. . We realize the change and continuously look for opportunities for improvement for the customer and in the market. We primarily serve customers and colleagues at Commercial Banking and Corporate & Institutional Banking. Together with our colleagues, we ensure that we can beat the competition (other banks and Fintechs). To be able to do this, we work, alongside many colleagues in the Business, closely together with colleagues within, among others, Risk, various Functions departments and Retail.

Your profile

To be able to offer added value to business customers, new propositions must fit together well and meet the needs and wishes of our customer. For that we need you to have a vision, a clear exciting idea of where to go and what to accomplish. With your environmental awareness and broad knowledge of new opportunities in the market you know how to estimate the effects on our business and customer. You present your ideas in a convincing way and with impact. And you know how to manage stakeholders. Do you think you suit us?
We are looking for seasoned professionals with work experience in a consulting environment. If you think your profile fits this list we are looking forward to meet you:

– Higher educational background (master level).
– You have experience with Design Thinking and Lean Start-up as a solution-oriented approach to innovation.
– Knowledge of the Lending Market and the Credit domain. Affinity with data.
– You think outside the box, love to experiment & adapt and apply a streetwise mentality to challenges.
– You are persistent and flexible, continues with resistance and setback.
– You can quickly organise (your) workload effectively, are solution-oriented and generate predictable output.

Our salary indication has a wide range: EUR 78k – 110k all-in, based on a 40-hour working week (36 is also possible). And a number of attractive employment conditions that you can expect from us. Classification depends on the experience, knowledge and potential that you bring.
