Your job

ABN AMRO’s IT TripleA Engineers design and develop the next generation of applications. Building software is great, but building software for around 0.5 million end-users is better! While this means we value our top notch quality standard, you’ll work with the best professionals in software development.

Within Investments our IT TripleA Engineers are responsible for the technology which supports our Investments Private Banking clients. The continuous change in needs and wishes result in a very interesting and dynamic IT landscape. As an Engineer you develop and deliver working IT solutions and manage time-to-market for these clients. You ensure the IT product is delivered and maintained in a predictable, stable and highly effective manner. You work in a cross-skilled scrum team, responsible for built, maintain and secure the Investments applications.

Your working environment

You will be working on our TripleA application landscape, together as one team with your colleagues in a small Agile teams (5-9 persons) in a dynamic and international informal atmosphere, with plenty of room for fun and growth. Your teams and colleagues are mainly working in Netherlands (occasionally in India).

We are okay with making mistakes, as long as we learn from it. Learning new technologies and personal development is key. You will actively participate in the journey from this mature and largely autonomous team to a true DevOps team.

Your profile

  • You take ownership of your own and your team delivery (self-steering)
  • You have an exploratory mindset, on the lookout for new technological and personal developments
  • You have a pro-active attitude towards information gathering
  • You are eager to grow to an all-round IT TripleA Engineer
  • You have experience with Java
  • You have good Dutch and English communication skills
  • You have a proactive mindset and you take responsibility
  • You are a teamplayer, working in and working on open minded teams

 

Content/skill wise:

  • Functional knowledge about Investments is a pre
  • Technical Triple A knowledge and experience from Triple A GUI, WTX, DB2, Unix is a mandatory
  • Technical Triple A knowledge from Triple A WUI is a pre
  • Technical knowledge of Azure is a pre
  • Working on an agile environment
  • Working in an international environment
