Job Description

We are looking for a lead developer to join our UI Architecture team responsible for the web front-end of our flagship product – Absolute 7. You will design and develop our new React UI SDK and support other UI developers to roll it out across the application

You are an experienced web application developer, with battle-tested opinions but an open mind. You are a generalist who has built full stack web apps large and small, but are most at home in the UI. You are a team player who wants to break down silos and inspire junior developers with your knowledge and experience.

Accountabilities Will Include:

  • Working with other senior developers to evolve the overall structure of our large React-based single page web application to meet rapidly changing requirements
  • Mentoring UI specialist developers within each scrum team
  • Evangelizing UI development to the rest of the development organization, and helping make UI development accessible to all

What You’ll Need:

  • Knowledge of major JavaScript framework libraries, particularly React
  • Significant experience doing front-end development on single page web applications
  • Experience developing full stack applications
  • Familiarity with the scrum development process
  • Solid computer science fundamentals
  • Deep knowledge of Javascript, CSS, and the DOM
  • Deep knowledge of software architecture and design
  • Excellent technical and personal communication skills, both written and oral
