A-Gas Americas is looking to hire a full-time Business Development Leader to manage the field technicians and outside sales for a specific territory servicing the HVAC and specialty gas industries. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEADER

As a Business Development Leader, you manage service technicians in a specific territory and are accountable for ensuring timely and exceptional service to our customers. Under your excellent hands-on leadership, coaching, and mentorship, our Field Service Technicians are inspired to provide exceptional service at all times. In addition, you are responsible for the growth, profitability, and development of the territory. This includes actively prospecting while nurturing both new and current customer relationships. You successfully find additional opportunities for service, gas buy-back, and refrigerant spot buy sales that help to meet or exceed territory targets.

As the primary outside sales generator, you are accountable for meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and gas recovery goals. You always investigate and effectively resolve any customer concerns in a timely manner. You communicate effectively with both customers and technicians. With attention to detail, you ensure daily work orders and weekly expenses are reported in a timely manner and assigned vehicles are properly maintained and kept in a presentable condition. You effectively use Salesforce to plan and keep track of sales activities. You are passionate about safety, holding yourself and others accountable for safety standards. You love that your job is challenging and goal-driven as well as people-oriented!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT LEADER

  • AT LEAST 25 years old
  • College degree OR 3+ years of HVAC/specialty gas industry and leadership experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain CDL Class C with a hazmat endorsement within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to obtain EPA universal certification within 90 days of employment
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
  • Availability and willingness to travel and work flexible hours
  • Leadership skills
  • Sales ability
